What's New across FYI
6:26: The brand new Automation Import Wizard is now available in FYI. Automations can now be imported efficiently as the Import Wizard guides you through key automation components by allowing you to map or create those components during the import.
15:46: We have added functionality to the Look Up Job Step available in Automations by allowing Job States to be filtered within the step. It also allows for multi-select, ensuring only jobs with the selected Job States are found.
18:53: Improvements have been made to the Document Editor in FYI when editing Emails, File Notes, Meeting Notes and Phone Notes. Images can now be easily inserted and managed within these document types. Further, we now have a range of new fonts available when editing within FYI.
20:22: A new column has been introduced to the Documents List, called Template. The Template column will display the name of the document template used to create the document. For those with Template permissions, this will also display as a hyperlink allowing quick access to the template.
21:40: The Email column in the Client List and Employee List now has a range of filtering options, allowing more functionality and flexibility for sorting and filtering.
What's New for FYI Elite
22:57: The Move Timesheets User Group Permission has now been decoupled and is a standalone permission, allow for greater granularity when managing your User Group Permissions.
23:27: We have increased the Bulk Update functionality within the Time List by allowing Time Type to be edited in bulk. Any time entries requiring the Time Type to be updated will now be able to be update via Bulk Update.
24:23: The Invoice List has a new column available called Source. The Source column allows visibility over where an invoice has been generated to allow for tracking or editing where needed.
25:42: Following on, the ability to sort the Invoice List by Client, Client Group, Job and Status is now available. This gives greater flexibility over Invoice data and the ability to utilise Invoice Views more broadly.
26:25: We have also increased the number of characters in the Invoice Description field to 4,000 characters, allowing a seamless experience when invoices are synced between FYI and Xero.
Spotlight: Secure Link
28:13: Our newest feature on the horizon is Secure Link. Secure Link allows practices to securely send sensitive FYI documents to clients or contacts by email when the recipient needs to access and download the files for their own records. A code will be sent by email or SMS to allow recipients to verify they are the intended recipient before downloading the documents.
More Integrations, Support & Education
34:51: Introducing five new integrations:
- Ignition is a proposals, billing, and payments platform that helps practices manage client engagements and workflows.
- AMLCC is an anti-money laundering and client compliance platform that helps practices manage AML obligations.
- Zato is a platform for practices in Australia and New Zealand that automates key accounting workflows, including workpapers, journals, and reconciliations.
- Abacor is an AI meeting assistant that captures and understands client conversations, turning meetings into actionable tasks and documentation.
- Annature's Identity Verification feature is now available in the FYI + Annature integration. Practices can send identity verification requests from Annature and manage verification workflows alongside digital signatures, using client information synchronised from FYI.
