Issue
When trying to check in a document using the FYI Desktop App, the following error is displayed:
- Error FYI-2308 "File size exceeds the maximum allowed limit 250 MB."
Cause
The FYI Desktop App has a file size limit of 250 MB when uploading or checking in documents.
Solution
To resolve this issue, upload the document as a new version directly within FYI instead of using the FYI Desktop App.
- Save the document to your local computer.
- Open the relevant Documents List in FYI.
- Click on the document to display the FYI Drawer.
- Expand the Versions section.
- Click Choose a file.
- Select the updated file from your computer and upload it.
- The file will be uploaded and set as the current version in the Version section.
