FYI holds information about a document in the drawer, along with functions and features that are available for that document.
You can also display the Document Drawer in Microsoft Office applications.
Displaying the drawer
To display to Document drawer, select a document in a list in FYI. The drawer also displays when creating documents in FYI.
The following is an example of the drawer that displays for a Word document that has been filed in FYI.
Documents filed to a Knowledge cabinet only display the Filing section and other editable sections of the drawer, if you have Knowledge permissions.
With the drawer displayed, you can select another document by clicking on it in the list. The drawer updates to display the details of the newly selected document. Sections that are open on the first document are automatically displayed for the newly selected document.
