"We encountered an error opening your document" when trying to download or edit an FYI document

Issue

When opening documents, you get the error "We encountered an error opening your document".

Solution

You should check the "My Status" page to determine if there's an issue with your account. Refer to General Troubleshooting - checking your Status page.

If your My Status page doesn't show any errors, please contact support for assistance.
