Legitimate emails sent from FYI, for example, notification emails, may sometimes be delivered to the Junk Email folder. You can add the FYI domain to Outlook's Safe Senders and domains list to help ensure these emails are delivered to your inbox.

Use the following details when adding FYI as a safe sender:

  • Domain: fyi.app
  • Sender name: FYI

Add FYI to Safe senders and domains

  1. In Outlook, select Settings.
  2. Select Mail, then Junk email.
  3. Under Safe senders and domains, add fyi.app, then select Save.

Contact your IT administrator

If multiple users are affected, or FYI emails are blocked or quarantined before reaching the mailbox, contact your IT administrator. They can determine the appropriate organisation-level allowlisting method in Microsoft 365.

Note: An IP address is not normally required. Only use IP allowlisting if your IT administrator determines it is necessary and confirms the correct sending IP address from the email headers. Use "nslookup" to retrieve the IP address for fyi.app.
