We’re excited to announce that PDF Management is now available for Pro and Elite practices, bringing powerful PDF editing, redaction and collation capabilities directly into FYI.
Whether preparing documents for review, protecting confidential information before sharing, or bringing related documents together into a single PDF, users now have the tools they need to complete these common PDF tasks directly in FYI.
What does this mean for FYI users?
PDF Management significantly expands what users can do with PDFs directly in FYI.
For many practices, working with PDFs is part of their everyday document workflow. With PDF Management, users can now edit and annotate documents, permanently remove sensitive information, organise pages, and combine multiple PDFs without needing to move between FYI and separate PDF applications.
Editing a PDF
- Edit PDF content: Edit existing text, add hyperlinks and markup PDFs directly in FYI. This makes it easier to correct information, update supporting documents, or update a collation before it is reviewed and shared.
- Annotate and organise PDFs: Add signatures, highlights, notes, text, shapes, stamps, images and other annotations to draw attention to key information within a PDF. Pages can also be reordered or removed, and bookmarks or watermarks can be added to help organise larger documents such as financial statements or supporting workpapers.
Redact sensitive information
- Find and redact recurring information: Search a PDF for matching content and mark multiple results for redaction. This can save significant time when the same sensitive information appears throughout a tax document, report, or supporting record. Users can review all pending redactions before permanently applying them.
- Protect sensitive information before sharing: Permanently remove confidential information such as tax numbers, bank account details or other personal information before providing a PDF to a client, third party or another team member.
Collating PDFs
- Create the document in the order you need: Arrange PDFs before creating the collation, including documents for a single client or across related entities, while keeping the original source documents unchanged.
- Collate related client documents together: Combine two or more PDFs into a single, organised document, making it easier to prepare complete document packs for reviews, client meetings or other accounting workflows.

PDF Management is available for all users on Pro and Elite plans, across all practice management sources.
