The New Client filter is available when creating Custom Automation Processes that are configured with an Event Trigger, allowing practices to automate processes when a new client is synchronised to FYI. For example, onboarding new client workflows can be run when a new client is created.
Important Note: Consider reviewing automations that use the same Event filter and steps to avoid causing processes to loop. Refer to Progress Trigger Details - Event.
Client Update Filter
To use the Filter - New Client:
- Set up a custom process with the Trigger - Event.
- From the Process Details tab, click the edit icon next to Filter.
- Select the Filter Type of New Client.
Note: This filter does not require additional fields to be selected, as the automation will run for every new client created.
- Click Save.
