The Client Update filter is available when creating Custom Automation Processes that are configured with an Event Trigger, allowing practices to automate processes based on updates to particular Client fields in FYI. For example, when a client's Mobile Number is updated, create a task to review the related Client Group details and update them accordingly.
Important Note: Consider reviewing automations that use the same Event filter and steps to avoid causing processes to loop. Refer to Progress Trigger Details - Event.
Client Update Filter
To use the Filter - Client Update:
- Set up a custom process with the Trigger - Event.
- From the Process Details tab, click the edit icon next to Filter.
- Select the Filter Type of Client Update.
- From the On Update To drop-down, select a client field that will trigger the automation.
- Click Save.
On Update To Fields
When Client Update is selected, the On Update To field must be configured to trigger the automation. The following fields can be selected.
Important: Any changes to these fields, including the removal of the field, will trigger the automation to run.
