We’re excited to announce that the Convert Excel Reports to Templates feature is now available for all practices on the Elite plan.
This feature introduces a Convert to Template option within Document lists, allowing users with Templates permission to convert Excel reports into reusable templates. Once converted, the template can be selected when creating new reports, ensuring consistency and reducing manual effort.
What does this mean for FYI users?
Converting existing Excel reports into templates makes it easier to standardise reporting and improve efficiency across your practice. Instead of recreating report templates or maintaining multiple versions, FYI Admins or users with Templates permission can convert reports into reusable templates and apply them consistently.

Convert Reports from the Documents List: Convert existing Excel reports from the Documents list using the Convert to Template option, ensuring only relevant documents are converted.

Create New or Update Existing Templates: Choose to create a new report template or update an existing template to reflect changes to your reports.
- Retain report structure while removing data: Once converted, templates preserve the original layout, formatting and calculations from the Excel report while removing client-specific data.

Convert Excel Reports to Templates is available now to all practices on the Elite plan.
