Process Filter Details - Employee

Plan: Not Available: Intermediate, Pro Available: Elite

Users: Not Available: All users Available:FYI Admins or User Group Permissions

Practice Management Source: Not Available: APS, Iris, MYOB AE & AO, CCH, MYOB Practice Management (formerly GreatSoft) Available: FYI or Xero Practice Manager

The Employee filter is available when creating Custom Automations, allowing practices to create an automation based on employees within FYI. For example, Employee Onboarding, or preparing for employee performance reviews.

Employee - View Filters

To use the Employee - View Filters filter:

  1. From the Process Details tab, click the edit icon next to Filter.

  2. Select the Filter Type of Employee - View Filters.
     
  3. Select a View from the drop-down.
    Note: If the required view is not displayed, ensure the view has been enabled for Automations. Refer to Managing Views.
     
  4. Enable the Run Only Once Per Employee option to prevent the automation from running multiple times for the same employee. 

    For example, the Employee Onboarding process would have this option ticked, while the Employee Performance Review option would be unticked (to allow the process to run on a scheduled basis for all employees multiple times).

  5. Click Save.
