Can a System View be reset back to the original view?

When changes are made and saved to a System View (e.g. the "All Clients" view), there is currently no option to automatically restore the view to its original defaults.

It is recommended that any changes to a System View be saved as a new view.

If you would like to restore a view to the original default, an FYI Admin or user with Views permissions can do this manually:

  1. Open the affected Workspace (eg Clients).
  2. Select the System View, which appears at the top of the list.
  3. Review the Activity history of the changes from General Settings - Views.
    Note: Only an FYI Admin can review these changes.

  4. Update the System Default View with the changes made.
  5. Click the drop-down arrow next to the view name. Select Save View.
  6. Choose Modify Existing.
  7. Rename the view back to the original name, where required (eg All Clients).
  8. Click Save and Close.
