We're excited to announce that the CSV Data Import feature is now available to all practices on the Elite plan.
Using the CSV Data Import Automation Filter, FYI Admins and users with permissions for Automations will be able to create Custom Processes to create clients, jobs, disbursements, and more. Existing clients and jobs can be matched and updated, for example, to bulk update Custom Fields, using the Client and Job matching option. Imported data is inserted using Merge Fields, giving users control and flexibility over where the data is populated in FYI.
What does this mean for FYI users?
Using the CSV Data Import Automation Filter, FYI Admins and users with Automations permissions can:
- Create Custom Automations to import data from CSV files into FYI.
- Import clients, jobs, disbursements, time, and more.
- Use Merge Fields to control where the imported data is inserted.
- Validate the data prior to import, allowing users to identify and correct errors before running the automation.
- Prevent duplicate data by enabling the Run Only Once Per Row option.
- Use flexible Client Matching to select how existing clients are identified, for example, using the Client Name, Company Number, Client Code, and more.
Who is this available for?
The CSV Data Import Automation Filter is available for all FYI users on the Elite plan.
