To help you get the most out of your platform, Sample Clients and Cabinet can be enabled, giving you a set of example data to explore and test features within FYI. This sample data is in addition to the Sample Templates and Automations that are automatically included when your trial is created.
Enabling Sample Content

Log in to FYI as an FYI Admin.

Click Settings in the top right-hand corner.

Select Practice settings from the drop-down.

Click General.
- Tick Sample Content. Sample Clients and a Cabinet called 'Sample' will be automatically enabled.
Using Sample Content
When Sample Content is enabled, the Sample Clients are shown in the Clients list with a blue Sample icon.
The following is an example of the Clients list with the Source column included and filtered to show the Source as "Sample".
When Sample Content is enabled, a Cabinet called "Sample" is created and can be accessed by all users by default.
Disabling Sample Content
Sample Content can be disabled at any time from Practice Settings. This hides the Sample Clients and the Sample Cabinet.
For the Sample Clients, this will:
- Stop any Sample Automation Processes
- Delete the Tasks
- Cancel the Jobs
- Delete the Documents
- Delete the "Sample" Cabinet
The Sample Content can be enabled again at any time.
