Why has an Automation Process sent an email multiple times to the same recipient?

When running an Automation Process that sends emails, some clients may receive multiple copies of the same email.

This can occur when multiple clients selected by the Filter, or by the View used in the Filter, share the same email address.

Review the Filter or the View used in the Automation Process and ensure duplicate email addresses are not listed against multiple clients.

For Client Groups containing multiple clients with the same email address, you can use the Primary Client indicator in the View so the email is only sent to the Primary Client.
