Issue
When installing the latest update for FYI Desktop App, I am getting the following error:
"Could not find the resource "System.Core.resources" among the resources "System.IO.Pipes.Core.resources" embedded in the assembly "NamedPipeServerStream.NetFrameworkVersion", nor among the resources in any satellite assemblies for the specified culture. Perhaps the resources were embedded with an incorrect name."
Cause
This issue could be caused by installing the update for the FYI Desktop Application when this was originally installed using the MSI installer.
Solution
Reinstall the FYI Desktop App using the MSI installer. Refer to Installing the FYI Desktop App for MSI installation.
