"Bundle cannot have recipients who share the same email" when sending FuseSign document bundle

Issue

When sending a document bundle to FuseSign to 2 recipients with the same email but different phone numbers in contacts, an error similar to one of the following is displayed:

  • Bundle cannot have recipients who share the same email
  • Cannot have multiple recipients with the same email address

Solution

You cannot add the same email address twice, and will need to remove one of the email addresses, or select a different email address for the second contact.

Alternatively, you can manually add the additional signer to the documents within FuseSign.
