Error FYI-2256 "Another user has made a change to this process. Please refresh the page and try again."

Issue

When trying to save changes to an Automation Process, the following message is displayed:

• This process has been updated by another user. Refresh the page to view the latest changes and try again.

Cause

This message is caused when two users are editing the same Automation Process at the same time. One user made changes and then saved the process, which means the second user is no longer editing the latest version of the Automation Process.

Solution

The second user will need to refresh the page. This will load the latest version of the process, and they will then be able to make updates as required.

Click the Refresh button on the browser or press Ctrl+F5 on the keyboard to refresh the page.
