Error posting envelope to FuseSign: "Document" requires signature placeholders to be set for all signers prior to sending.

Issue

When trying to send a document for signature to FuseSign, the following error appears:

• "Error posting envelope to FuseSign: "Document Name" requires signature placeholders to be set for all signers prior to sending."

Cause

The Default signature placement mode has not been set directly in the FuseSign Account Settings.

Solution

To send the document for signature, you will need to configure the Default signature placement mode to "Sign entire document" in FuseSign Account Settings.

Note: If set to "Signature placeholders", sending a document for signature will still encounter an error.
