How do I set a client, who is archived in Xero Practice Manager, as active in FYI?

Plan: Available: All plans

Users: Not Available: All users Available: FYI Admins or User Group Permissions

Practice Management Source: Not Available: APS, Iris, MYOB AE & AO, CCH, MYOB Practice Management (formerly GreatSoft) Available: FYI or Xero Practice Manager

For practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager, if you need to set an Archived client as "Active" this is done from within Xero Practice Manager.

To set an archived client as active:

  1. In Xero Practice Manager, display Clients.
     
  2. Click on the drop-down menu under All Clients and select Archived.

  3. Select the archived client you want to make active.
     
  4. Click Options button and select Restore.

Once the client has been restored, it will sync automatically with FYI.

If you need the client to be available straight away as an active client in FYI, you can run a manual sync to FYI. 

Note that once the client has been marked as active, you will need to unarchive the documents for the client. Refer to What happens to the documents filed for a client if the client is archived in Xero Practice Manager?
