If my Xero Ledger settings have a lock date set, will an invoice created in FYI still sync to Xero?

If a practice has a lock date set in their Xero Ledger Settings, an invoice created in FYI will still sync to their Xero file.  The invoice will sync to Xero as a draft and the invoice status in FYI will be 'Draft in Xero'.

When accessing the invoice in Xero the user will be unable to Approve the invoice and will be presented with the following error message:

  • The document data cannot be before the end of year lock date, currently set DD-MM-YYYY

The user will need to remove the lock date and resubmit the invoice in Xero.
