Our Partner Program offers recognised partners exclusive FYI benefits to advocate and deliver results for accounting practices implementing and leveraging the FYI platform. 

New Partners

Our FYI Partners play an integral role in the success of our clients, and in delivering the FYI mission to liberate accountants by halving the time they spend on compliance and admin with our cloud accounting application. 

The Partner Program is currently open to Implementation Partners or Consulting Partners, you may be both. When you partner with FYI, you agree to uphold our highest standards and provide the best possible experience for our mutual clients. We expect everyone who partners with us to consistently use good judgment to ensure you are representing both FYI and your company in a positive light. 

Implementation Partner

Our Implementor Partners engage mutual prospective clients suitable for the FYI Platform and provide a seamless onboarding experience to the platform in partnership with the FYI team and in line with FYI's best practices and requirements.

Implementation Partners carry out the following:

  • Advocate for FYI features and solutions appropriate to the practice.
  • Implement the FYI platform for the practice per FYI's defined Onboarding Journey.
    Note: FYI's Onboarding team takes charge of all refiling of migrated documents, if required, ensuring a seamless transition every time. 
  • Communicate prospect and project pipeline with FYI on a regular basis.

Consulting Partner

Our Consulting Partners are responsible for engaging mutual existing clients and providing advice and/or assistance to deeply adopt FYI features in line with FYI's best practices.

Consulting Partners carry out the following:

  • Advocate for FYI features and solutions appropriate to the practice.
  • Implement adoption programs to increase platform usage and client satisfaction.
  • Communicate project pipeline with FYI as and when required.

Certification

To become a certified FYI Partner, the following steps need to be completed: 

FYI Learn

To ensure our partners have all the tools and knowledge of FYI's vast features, all FYI Learn courses must be completed. 

Note: for organisations, the completion rate of total learn courses is considered satisfactory if 75% completion (i.e. majority of staff have completed all Learn courses). For sole practioners, a 100% completion rate is required. 

FYI Solutions & Feature Benefits

To ensure our partners are set up for success when engaging with mutual prospects and/or clients to advocate FYI features and functionality, a meeting with FYI's Head of Sales will serve as a vital platform to ensure all of our partners are well-versed on the array of solutions FYI offers. 

Partner Resources & FYI Best Practice

To ensure our partners are set up for success when providing services to mutual clients, a meeting with FYI's Head of Client Success will be held to brief our partners on key resources and best practice requirements when working with FYI. 

Upon successful completion of the above you will receive a partner agreement and formal certification from FYI.

Existing Partners

Participants in the Partner Program are governed by the legal terms and conditions that are outlined in the FYI Partner Program Agreement, which partners sign upon joining the program. Overall, we expect partners to use good judgment in all decisions and interactions with clients, the FYI team, and other partners.

To ensure we continue to support our partners on all things FYI, the below requirements must be met each calendar year for the successful renewal of Partner certification.

Maintaining Certification

We contact all partners in mid-January to notify you that the renewal cycle has commenced, and that certification will be reviewed per the below for the prior calendar year. 

FYI Product Updates

Partners are required to attend a minimum of 75% of all Product Update webinars held throughout the year. This ensures our partners are keeping up to date with FYI's latest features and resources for mutual clients. 

FYI Learn

Any new FYI Learn courses released during the calendar year must be completed to ensure our partners are well-informed of core features in the FYI platform. 
Note: for organisations, the completion rate of total learn courses is considered satisfactory if 75% completion (i.e. majority of staff have completed all Learn courses). For sole practitioners, a 100% completion rate is required. 

Failure to maintain certification will result in the following:

  • The partner agreement will be terminated effective immediately.
  • Formal recognition will be removed from all FYI collateral and certification imagery will be void.
  • Loss of access to exclusive resources effective immediately. 

Partners will be notified of their satisfactory completion of certification no later than 30 January each year and in the event that certification has not been maintained a 30-day grace period to rectify the certification status will be provided.
