Disconnect the integration between Xero Practice Manager and Xero
After you have finalised the migration to FYI for Practice Management, and confirmed the Invoice and WIP migration are complete, you can now disconnect the integration between Xero Practice Manager and Xero.
FYI will become the primary source to synchronise Invoices and Contacts with Xero.
To disconnect the integration:
In Xero Practice Manager, click the Business menu and select Settings.
Under the Connections heading click Xero.
Hover over Options and select Disconnect from Xero.
Click Yes to confirm.
After disconnecting Xero, an error will be displayed within Xero Practice Manager:
Your connection to Xero does not seem to be working. Please check that you have administrator permissions for the connected organisation in Xero and click here to go to the settings and reconnect your Xero account.
This message is expected to be displayed, and can be disregarded.
