Issue
The error "CompactToken parsing failed" appears either in the My Settings - Status tab, or when trying to open a document.
- CompactToken parsing failed with error code: 80049217
Solution
To resolve the issue, you will need to:
- Log out of FYI.
- Log into office.com using the same account that you log into FYI with.
- Log back into FYI.
- Click on the Settings menu and navigate to My Settings - Status to confirm the error is no longer displayed.
