Does updating the Client Code in Xero Practice Manager affect FYI?

FYI uses the Client ID in Xero Practice Manager as the unique identifier for a client. The Client ID is automatically generated by XPM when a client is created and cannot be changed.
 
The Client Code in Xero Practice Manager is separate from the Client ID.

Updates to a Client Code are handled by FYI in the same way as changing an email address or phone number - the information is treated as additional information on the client and not used to identify the client for synchronisation.
