Installing FYI Desktop App displays a banner "This app can't run on your PC" or "Infected Web Page detected".

Issue

When trying to install the FYI Desktop App the anti-virus app (for example BitDefender, Avast etc) displays a message similar to "Infected web page detected. We blocked this dangerous page for your protection".

Cause

A policy with your anti-virus application is blocking the install files from downloading to the computer, preventing it from launching.

Solution

You will need to raise the issue with your IT administrator to update your system. They will be able to ensure the policy doesn't block FYI Desktop App files from being downloaded and run on your computer.
