Filing Emails

Filing your emails efficiently ensures all client communications are captured, allowing the wider team to be across important client information.

These short videos demonstrate how you can file and refile emails from within FYI and Outlook.

Note for In Tray users: You only need to file an email from one location. Therefore, if an email is filed from within Outlook, it will be filed in FYI and removed from your In Tray.

Filing 'Draft Filed' Emails from your In Tray

'Draft Filed' is where FYI has found a match on the client email and you are using In Tray Review or there are multiple clients associated with the email address.

Filing 'Not Filed' Emails from Outlook

'Not Filed' is when the email address cannot be matched to a client or contact in FYI.
