Issue
When I click the Edit button for a document in FYI, the document is saved to my Downloads folder instead of opening directly in Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
Cause
This behaviour can be caused by anti-virus software, for example, HP Wolf Security, on your computer. The software is preventing the Office documents from opening directly.
Solution
Your IT team will need to review the antivirus software settings on the computer to ensure it does not prevent Office applications from opening files originating from the internet.
As an alternative solution, we recommend using FYI Desktop to manage and open documents on your local machine.
