"An error occurred when creating the document using a template" when creating a document from an Automation Process

Issue

An FYI notification with the following message about a document that was created from an Automation has been received:

"An error occurred when creating the document using a template. Please try again."

Cause

This could have been caused because the Automation failed to load the document during the creation process.

Solution

Navigate to the Automation History tab and identify where the error occurred. Users can Retry the step that errored. Refer to Automation History - Process with a Status of "Error"
