FYI monitors both the Inbox and Sent Items folders in Outlook. Emails must remain in these folders until they are filed by FYI. If you move them before this occurs, FYI cannot apply the 'Filed in FYI' category or recognise them as filed.
If you would like to move emails after they’ve been filed, you can create a rule in Outlook to help automate this process.
We recommend working with your IT team to create a rule that runs when an email is assigned the category ‘Filed in FYI’. For example, you could create a rule that automatically moves emails after they have been assigned to the category 'Filed in FYI'.
