  • AutoComplete Tasks is a new function which allows Tasks that have been created by an Automation Process to be automatically set as "Complete" when the selected condition is met. This would generally be used for Tasks that have been created for an email or document that is created by the process, or for an Alter Document step in a process.
    AutoComplete is used for a Task that has been created with an Automation Process where an action needs to be done in order for the Task to be complete. AutoComplete also ensures that a Process is not stalled by a blocking Task if the required action has already been done but the Task has not been set to "Complete". If the Task has been manually set to "Complete" the AutoComplete is no longer relevant for that Task and will not be run.

  • In the Editor in Emails, Email Templates and Signatures and in Phone Call, File Note or Meeting, the font family and font size are now shown as selectors without needing to open these in a sub-menu. When you click on the text, this displays the font family and font size that has been applied to the text.
    For examples of how this now displays, refer to Formatting and Fonts using the Editor in FYI.

  • When using the Jobs Bulk Update to make changes to the Category, this now correctly syncs the updated Category to Xero Practice Manager.

  • The My Settings - Security tab now shows all changes that a user has made to their My Settings.
  • When Job States are synced to Xero Practice Manager, if the State cannot be changed in Xero Practice Manager for any reason, this is now reported in Practice Activity.

  • In an Automation Process, in the Update Job step, if a value has not been entered for any of the fields in the Update Job step, this now correctly validates and the Process cannot be set as "Active".
  • For New Zealand sites, the FYI_Tax_Year Merge Fields are now correctly populating.

  • Clients Bulk Update now allows the Manager, Partner and one or more Client Custom Fields to be updated. When updating a Date Custom Field, this now allows the date to be selected either as "Current Date" to set the date as 'today' or to select a specific date.

    The Clients Bulk Update is now run by an Automation Process Client Bulk Update (this Process is not shown in the Automation - Processes dashboard or List view). Updates display in the Client - Activity tab for the relevant clients, and in the Automation - History and Practice - Activity tabs.

    To update the Manager, Partner or Client Custom Fields, the user must be in a User Group with Permissions enabled for Edit Clients. To update the Custom Fields, the user must additionally be in a User Group with Permissions enabled for Custom Fields.

  • Jobs Bulk Update now allows the Name, Budget, Start Date, Due Date and one or more Job Custom Fields to be updated. If your practice has Job Cabinet Security enabled in your Practice Settings, you can also now use Jobs Bulk Update to update the Job Cabinet.

  • An FYI Admin, or a user in a User Group with Permissions enabled for Edit Jobs, can now update the Name, Budget, Start Date, Due Date, Cabinet and Job Custom Fields from the Job drawer. To update the Custom Fields, the user must additionally be in a User Group with Permissions enabled for Custom Fields. Name, Budget, Start Date, Due Date, Cabinet can also be updated from the Job - Summary tab. Refer to Using the Job Drawer and Job Summary.

  • The Update Job Step in Custom Processes can also be used to update the Name, Budget, Start Date and Due Date. Refer to Update Job in Process Step Details - Updating Clients, Creating and Updating Jobs.

  • For practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager, deleting a Client Group in Xero Practice Manger now correctly removes the Group in FYI when the clients are synced.
  • When sending a document for signing via FuseSign, if this is sent to an email address for which there is no name held, this now adds the name as the text on the left of the @ in the email address to send the document without an error.
  • In the Bulk Export to Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 (which is available on demand only), if the category contains a back slash (\) the export converts this to an underscore (_).
  • In a Custom Process with the Filter set as Client View, selecting "All clients" as the view now correctly shows the text in he Filter pop-up correctly as "Run Only Once Per Client".
