The Job Summary tab provides a comprehensive overview of the job details. In addition, users with permission to Edit Jobs can update job details directly from the Job Summary, such as the Name, State, and Due Date.
Job Summary Layout
The details displayed on the Job Summary will vary depending on the FYI plan selected by the practice, and whether FYI as Primary for Client Maintenance has been enabled.
The Job Summary tab will display the Job Details, Documents and Tasks, and allow client interactions to be created. Job Financial Details will not be displayed.
For practices where FYI as Primary for Client Maintenance is enabled, the Assigned Users section is displayed below the Job Details.
Job Summary Functions
Job Details
The Job Details section provides the most essential job information at a glance.

| Job Type icon | Displayed next to the "Job Details" heading, the icon will change to indicate the type of job - Standard, Billing or Workflow. |

Pending Sync |
Displayed when the job is waiting to be synchronised with Xero Practice Manager. When Pending Sync is displayed, updates will not be overwritten by a user running a manual sync via the Sync from PM button, including any Custom Field changes made in XPM. Note: Pending Sync will only be displayed for practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager. |
| Sync Job |
Displayed for practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager. This will trigger a manual synchronisation of the Job Details and if FYI as Primary is not enabled, Custom Field values. |

Edit Icon |
Users with appropriate permissions can click this icon to edit job fields such as State, Cabinet, and Financial Details. |

Open in PM |
Practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager will be able to click the Open in PM icon to open the job directly in XPM. If viewing an XPM Workflow Job, the Task will be opened instead. |

Assigned Users
For practices where FYI as Primary for Client Maintenance is enabled, the Assigned field in the Job Details section will be replaced by the Assigned Users section. A list of "User" type Job Custom Fields will be displayed, referred to as Custom User Roles.
Financial Details
This section will only be displayed for practices on the Elite plan with FYI selected as the Practice Management source.
The Financial Details section includes the financial aspects of the job, including the WIP, Budget, Actual and Invoiced Amounts.
Recording Client Interactions
Users can enter the details of a Phone Call, File Record or Meeting related to the job, directly from the Job Summary.

Recent Documents
The most recent documents for the job are displayed, allowing users to easily access files without navigating to another tab. Click on the Document or Task to open the Document Drawer or Task Drawer.
If any documents for the job have been pinned, this section will be replaced by the Pinned Documents section.
Pinned Documents
If documents have been pinned for the job, the Job - Summary tab will display a Pinned Documents section.
All users in the practice with permissions to access the job and its documents will be able to view this section, providing fast access to key documents, such as File Notes. Up to 5 pinned documents will be displayed. Click on the relevant row to open the pinned document.
If the job does not have any pinned documents, the Recent Documents section will be displayed.
Tasks
The Tasks section displays the most recent tasks for that job. The Assignee will be displayed, along with the Due date.
Click on the relevant row to open the task.
