- Custom Field Maintenance in FYI
Client and Job Custom Fields definitions and values in Clients and Jobs can now be maintained in FYI. For practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager, these are synced to Xero Practice Manager.
- Client and Job Custom Fields definitions can now be added and maintained in FYI by an FYI Admin. Refer to Managing Custom Fields.
- In the User Groups, there is an additional Permission for Edit Custom Fields (refer to Managing User Groups).
- Users in a User Group with Permissions enabled for Edit Custom Fields (and FYI Admins) can edit the Custom Fields for a Client or Job in FYI. Refer to Client Custom Fields and to Job Custom Fields.
- For practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager:
Additions and changes made to Client or Job Custom Field definitions, or to the Custom Field values for Client or Jobs in FYI sync to Xero Practice Manager within 15 minutes.
If you prefer that changes to Client and Job Custom Fields are only made in Xero Practice Manager, ensure that no users are given the Edit Custom Fields permission. - There are no changes to when changes to Custom Fields in your practice management software are synced to FYI. Any changes made in your practice management software to the Custom Field definitions or to the values in Clients or Job, will still sync to FYI overnight. Changes to the Client or Job Custom Fields can still be synced for the specific Client or Job using the Sync from PM in the Client - Custom Fields and Job Custom Fields tabs. Refer to Sync from PM in Client Custom Fields and Job Custom Fields.
- When adding Custom Fields in FYI, an additional Type of Custom Field for "User" can be added. Refer to Custom User Roles.
- Client and Job Custom Fields definitions can now be added and maintained in FYI by an FYI Admin. Refer to Managing Custom Fields.
- In Onboarding, documents which are Templates can be migrated using Refile and refiling them to the Templates Cabinet. They are brought in as Templates with the Status of "Active". Change the Status to "Draft" if necessary, and edit the Templates to check any Merge Fields that are needed. This does not apply to Email or MYOB Templates. Refer to Implementors: Refile Advanced.
- Addition of the Learn Dashboard view in the Users list to display the columns showing the status of each user for each of the FYI Courses. Refer to Learn Dashboard View in Managing Users.
- For practices integrated with GreatSoft, if a client is closed in GreatSoft it is now automatically archived in FYI. Refer to Synchronising Clients, Users, Jobs and Tax Returns with GreatSoft.

- Changes to the layout of the Task Drawer and the order in which the fields are shown. The fields that are less frequently used are now available in an Advanced section which is initially shows as collapsed. Refer to Using the Task Drawer.
The Advanced section holds any Task Categories (refer to Task Category - Categories that are Available in Tasks in Managing Categories) Cabinet and Job Category (where Task Job Category is enabled in your Practice Settings, refer to Managing Practice Settings). - The Filter Drawer is now available in the Home workspace In Tray, My Starred and My Approvals tabs and in the Job - Tasks tab. You can use the Filter Drawer to easily apply filters to any of the columns that are available in the list, providing the column can have a filter applied. This allows you to filter on columns even if the view does not already show them.
- In the same way that the Filter Drawer is either shown as open or closed is "sticky" when displaying the Documents lists, this is also "sticky", within the lists in the Home workspace and in the Job - Tasks tab. For example, if you leave the Filter Drawer expanded in a Documents list, the In Tray, My Starred and My Approvals will show the Filter Drawer expanded. If you leave the Tasks list with the Filter Drawer expanded, the Filter Drawer and will be expanded in the Job - Tasks tab.
- Task Categories are now displayed in the Home - My Tasks and Home - Delegated Tasks tabs. Refer to Displaying Tasks from your Home and Updating Tasks from Lists.
- When a new Job State is synced from Xero Practice Manager to FYI, it will be automatically assigned a colour in FYI. This is selected randomly from the current list of available colours. Refer to Job States.
- The Automation Process ASIC Statement & Resolution - Import & AutoFile to import documents from BGL has been renamed Corporate Documents & ASIC Statements - Import & AutoFile. Refer to Import from BGL.
- The Automation Process Completed Document Signature to import signed documents from Adobe Sign has been renamed Import of Signed Document from Adobe Sign. Refer to Import from Adobe Sign.
- Changes to the defaults applied to Trial sites. Refer to Your Default Settings.
- Email AutoFile not set as "Off" as default. Refer to Default Automations.
When ready to sync information from users' Outlook emails, the practice needs to set Email AutoFile to "On". Refer to Introduction to Email AutoFile and to Email AutoFile Settings, Exclusions and Practice Filing Defaults. - The Filing Default is set at the Practice level with the Cabinet as "Correspondence" and the Year as the current financial year. Refer to Applying your Filing Defaults.
- Email AutoFile not set as "Off" as default. Refer to Default Automations.
- If you try to run an Automation Process from the Client - Processes or Job - Processes and that Process is already in progress for that Client, a message now displays "This process is already in progress for this client". Refer to Running Custom Processes.

- For a Job that is created in FYI with a Job Category (either with the Create Job from the + button or via an Automation Process) the Job Category is now correctly shown in the Job drawer and is synced to Xero Practice Manager.
- When adding a Phone Call, File Note or Meeting from Client - Details page and the + Create button is clicked twice, this no longer duplicates the entry.
- When listing Jobs in Create Task, or when updating an existing Task, the Client Name is now included under the Job in the drop-down list.
- Displaying the notification from a Summary Notification sent by a Process using a Client - View Filter now correctly opens the Notifications page and no longer redirects to the Home - In Tray.

Corrections to the Notification generated by a Summary Notification from a Client View.
- In Summary Notification steps, the options for Notify User now include the correct selections.
- When sending a document for signing via FuseSign, if the client, contact or user that was selected did not have a Mobile recorded against it, this no longer picks up the Mobile from the main client.
- After the overnight sync to FYI, Job Categories that are deleted in Xero Practice Manager are no longer displayed in FYI when creating a new Job or in the Job Category drop-down of existing Jobs.
- For practices integrated with GreatSoft, the ClientName Merge Field is now picking up the complete client name for an individual or company.
- When creating a draft email and choosing how attachments are sent, the "OneDrive" selection no longer shows twice in the drop-down.

- The Support Request icon is now available in the drawer when editing a Template or an Automation Process Step. Refer to Sending a Support Request.
- In the Automation Process Step Create Job, the fields that are included are the same as when using Create Job from the + button. Refer to Create Job in Process Step Details - Updating Clients, Creating and Updating Jobs.
- The Client - Processes tab now includes a Search field to search for Processes. Refer to Client Processes and Process History.
- Connecting the NowInfinity app in FYI now uses OAuth authentication. Refer to Connecting your NowInfinity account to FYI. Previous connections are still valid and will still work correctly.

- Conditional Merge Fields are now working correctly in Email Templates. Refer to Conditional Merge Fields in Including Merge Fields in Email Templates and Signatures.
- If the Email Signature that is selected for a specific user is deleted, archived, or if the Status of the Signature is changed to "Draft" the Signature selected at the Practice level is now correctly used.
- Where an email is sent via OneDrive with an attachment, and where the filename already exists under the OneDrive path structure, the attachment list now shows the original filename and does not include the number used to make the filename unique in OneDrive.

In the same way that the Filter Drawer is either shown as open or closed is "sticky" when displaying the Documents list, this is also "sticky", within that type of list, for the Clients lists, Tasks lists and Jobs lists. For example, if you leave the Filter Drawer open in a Clients list (either from the Clients list or from the Clients tab when displaying a Client Group) and move to a different page, returning to a Clients list will re-display the Filter Drawer as expanded. Or if you close the Filter Drawer and leave the page, it will be closed when you re-display a Clients list.

Categories can now be set up as Available in Tasks. This allows users to apply these Categories to any Tasks, use them as filters in the Tasks list and when setting up views. For information on setting up a Category that can be selected in Tasks, refer to Categories that are Available in Tasks in Managing Categories. For information on selecting the Category in a task, refer to Task Categories in Using the Task Drawer.
Selecting a Category in the Create Task step in an Automation Process will be included in the near future.

- On Tasks lists, the Tasks Details are now available as a column. This displays the first few characters of the details in the Tasks. This column is included as a default in the "Incomplete Tasks" and "All Tasks" views. The Details are also included in the .csv file when exporting a Tasks view. Refer to Displaying a Practice-wide Tasks List and Displaying Tasks by Client.

- When changing the Cabinet in filing details, this no longer loses the Job that is selected.
- When using the Upload function with drag and drop to upload a PDF, then uploading an Excel spreadsheet in the same way, this no longer changes the file extension of the Excel spreadsheet.
- When displaying the Tax Returns tab for a Client Group, this now shows all the tax returns for all the Clients in the Group.
