Enhancements

  • The Dashboard - My Recent tab now shows all documents that a user has modified over a selected date range. By default, all documents modified in the last five days are displayed. Previously, if another user had edited a document subsequently, this document would disappear from the other user's My Recent tab.

Resolved Issues

  • Time can now be entered from the Dashboard - My Time tab.
  • Scheduled process automations using document views are now updating the workflow status to "Completed".
  • When connecting to Annature, an error message will now be displayed for failed connections.

Enhancements

  • The unique, internal reference number assigned in FYI to every email and document is no longer prefixed by the initials of the user who created the email or document. Refer to Unique Document Reference Number. This is for new documents. The reference numbers of any existing documents are not changed.

  • The Automation Dashboard no longer displays the generic description for Custom Processes.

Resolved Issues

  • On the Client - Job tab, correctly pre-populates the Job when uploading a document using drag and drop.
  • When copying a document, the Modified By user name is now set to the person who copied the document.

  • When Bulk Updating documents and selecting a client, this no longer displays the user's default Cabinet and Categories.
  • If the cabinet name contains an ampersand, filing details can now be changed from the FYI drawer in Excel desktop.
  • When sending a document to Annature for signing, if the client name is not available, it will continue using the recipient's email address.
  • When creating a task from a Process Automation, now correctly assigns of name of the respective the Manager/Partner.
  • In My Time, with the drawer open for a Time entry, clicking the Cancel button now leaves the drawer open. When changing the Job on a Time entry, the XPM Task is now cleared if there are no XPM Tasks associated with the new Job.
  • Correction to errors when using the integration to Zapier or Practice Ignition.

Resolved Issues

  • Creating a Task from the FYI Drawer in Outlook now correctly displays the Task drawer ready to enter the details.
  • In the My Time tab, the count of total draft entries for the current week is refreshed when time entries are submitted.
  • Email is correctly threaded when reply is created from a task.

Enhancements

  • The Dashboard - My Time tab now displays the XPM Task for Time entries. Refer to Displaying and Updating Time.
  • In the My Time tab, the Update Time drawer that displays when clicking on a Time entry, can still be updated if only some of the incomplete information has been added from the drawer. Refer to Displaying and Updating Time and Adding Bulk Time Entries.
  • In the Doc Link function, you can select Open from the drop-down next to the Doc Link button to copy a link to the document so it automatically opens when the link is clicked, instead of opening in Preview. Refer to Copying or Inserting a Document Link.

Resolved Issues

  • When scrolling down in a list and then opening the drawer for an email or document, closing the drawer no longer scrolls back to the top of the list.
  • In My Time, after submitting Draft Time entries, the Submitted total automatically refreshes.
  • Correction to an issue where the Original email was not appearing in email threads.
  • In the Client - Documents tab, with a Job selected now shows the correct documents if Search is also used.
  • Excel files with apostrophe and other special characters in the name are now correctly filing in FYI.
  • Negative Email Alert process is now working correctly.
  • Finish Co-editing with Client now removes the link from client correctly if the client still has the file open.
  • When deleting a Keyword in the filing details of an email or document, this is now being deleted correctly.
  • Very long client names, now displaying correctly in the Client workspace.
  • When creating an email in FYI as Draft in FYI, and as adding an attachment, the drawer no longer closes so the user can continue working on the email.

Enhancements

Resolved Issues

  • Connection to Annature is now available to UK customers.
  • In My Time, if hours have been entered for a Time entry which has no job selected, the hours are now included in the total of the draft hours.
  • Creating a document when the In Tray is displayed, now shows the correct options in the preview or editor panel.
  • Corrected an error where, when a Cabinet has been deleted and a document in the Deleted Cabinet has a new Cabinet selected, the new cabinet was being assigned to other documents in the view.
  • Opening a document from the Notifications now closes the drawer when moving to another view.

Enhancements

  • Addition of the Back button in the drawer.

    When the drawer is displayed and you select another document, email, task, job or time by clicking on it in the list, the Back button displays in the open drawer of the newly selected document, email, task, job or time. The Back button can be used to re-display in turn the previously selected document, email, task, job or time in that list. The history of which documents, emails, tasks, jobs or time entries are displayed with the Back button is held until the drawer is closed. Refer to Using the Document Drawer, Using the Email Drawer, Using the Task DrawerUsing the Job Drawer, Displaying and Updating Time.

    When opening a task from the Tasks section in the drawer of an email, document or job, the Back button displays at the top of the Task drawer. Click this to re-display the drawer for the relevant email, document or job. Refer to Using the Task Drawer.

  • Addition of a default email template that is used in the invitation email when sharing the OneDrive folder with the client. This can be set up for your practice' requirements but needs to include the Merge Fields {{ ShareFolderLink }} and {{ UploadFolderLink }}. The template also needs to be set as the default in the new Collaboration - Settings tab. This template is then automatically selected for the email that is sent out when the folders are initially shared and it can also be used if the links need to be resent to the client. Refer to Setting up the Email Template for Shared Folders Invitation and Sharing the OneDrive Folder with the Client.

  • Incoming emails include the workflow section in the drawer and the workflow process can be used for received emails. Refer to Reviewing and Approving Emails and Documents.

Resolved Issues

  • Finish Co-edit with Client can only be done by the user who initiated the Co-edit with client or by an FYI Admin.
  • Correction to conditional merge fields in Word.
  • When opening a time entry from My Time, a Job can now be correctly selected.
  • Opening a Job in XPM now opens the job correctly.

Resolved Issues

  • Bulk Time Entry where a Job has no XPM Tasks cannot be submitted.
  • Correction of error on Job list that occasionally displayed when filtering by Assigned To.
  • Correction where Completed Jobs could not be filtered on the Client - Jobs tab.
  • Correctly showing the selected Job when displaying a Time entry in My Time.

Enhancements

  • Addition of a new permission Share Settings in User Groups. Users in a User Group that has the Administer - Share Settings access set "On" have access to the Sharing Settings in the Client - Collaborate tab so they can share the OneDrive folder with the client. Refer to Managing User Groups and the section Sharing OneDrive Folders.

Resolved Issues

  • Message displays if an email is created via an automation that sets a document as Co-edit with client but the document is already in Co-edit internally.
  • In Sharing Settings, after adding a user and creating the email, when email is set as "Draft in FYI", selecting a template now correctly applies the selected template to the email.
  • When sending a document for signing via Annature, a message is displayed if the client's mobile number is not in the E.164 format. Refer to Digital Signatures using Annature.
  • When using the Thread List, clicking Clear Thread Filter re-displays the list where the Thread List was displayed from (Client - Documents, Jobs - Documents, My Recent etc).
  • Calendar Entry Autofile is now automatically importing client calendar entries correctly.
  • As Emails cannot be copied, the Copy button is disabled when an email is selected instead of displaying a message.
  • Correction to error where the Submit Drafts button on My Time submitted entries with 0 time.
