How do I add the 'Mobile number' for a Client in Xero Practice Manager?

Client details are synchronised from your integrated practice management software. 

In Xero Practice Manager, the client's phone number is held in the Client information. 

The Mobile number is not part of the general information of the client, and will use the mobile number associated with the Primary Contact for the client. 

Note: It's recommended to ensure a Primary Contact is selected in Xero Practice Manager. Without one, Xero Practice Manager will send the details of the first contact in the list.

Use the following to add the client's Mobile number in XPM:

  1. In Xero Practice Manager, click on Client's tab.
  2. Click + Add Contact on the right-hand side in Contacts.
    The New Contact screen displays.

  3. Fill out the details in the 'New Contact' window.
    Enter the client name as the Contact Name.
  4. Tick the check box to set the contact as 'Set as primary contact'.
  5. Click Save

Note: You can leave the Phone Number blank as the phone number would already be held in the general information for the Client.

The following examples show the Contact with the Mobile number saved in XPM and how this shows in FYI.

   In Xero Practice Manager
   In FYI

The information will automatically sync to FYI or can be manually synced.
