Announcing transition to the domain fyi.app for FYI software and support

We are excited to announce that we are moving to a new domain, fyi.app, in line with our expanding feature set incorporating practice management features. This new domain will replace the previous fyidocs.com used by our software and support resources.

This update will impact where you log into the FYI software, and how you interact with support.

These changes will take place on the following dates:

  • Evening of 18th of January (Support email addresses and Help Centre)
  • Evening of 25th of January (Login URL to access the FYI software)

Read on for all the details, and what you need to do.

What's Changing?

The following changes will be taking place:

  • Logging into the software - the URL used to log into FYI will be changed to go.fyi.app.
  • Support email address - emails will be sent from support@fyi.app.
  • Help Centre - the Knowledge Base will be available at support.fyi.app.

Doc Links for accessing documents within FYI will not be impacted.

What do I need to do?

After the transition, redirects will be put in place to ensure you can still access FYI. However, you should do the following as soon as possible once the transition has occurred.

  1. Update your bookmarks: You should update any bookmarks or saved links for logging into FYI or accessing the Help Centre to instead use the URLs provided above. This will ensure seamless access to the FYI platform and Help Centre without any interruption.

  2. Whitelist update: To guarantee you receive essential emails, including notifications, updates, and important announcements, you should add our new domain and email address to your whitelist or approved sender list. Notifications will be sent from go.fyi.app, and emails from support@fyi.app.

  3. Autofile Exclusions: If using AutoFile to automatically file emails from Outlook, you should add support@fyi.app to your exclusion list to prevent support emails from being filed. Refer to the "Email AutoFile - Exclusions" section of Email AutoFile Settings, Exclusions and Practice Filing Defaults.

Please note the URLs will not be available before the transition takes place.

When is this happening?

These changes will take place on the following dates:

  • Evening of 18th of January (Support email addresses and Help Centre)
  • Evening of 25th of January (Login URL to access the FYI software)

After these dates you will still be able to access FYI using the former details, however, these will be retired in the future. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be any impact on integrations or API connections with FYI? 

No, your integrations will continue without any impact. You will not need to reconnect or update any integrations or API connections.

Will our username and passwords used to log into FYI change? 

No. Other than the URL used to access the login page, all other details will remain the same.

How do I contact support?

We always recommend using the Bot directly within FYI as the fastest way to contact Support, however you can still email the team. Refer to Sending a Support Request.

What if I haven't updated my bookmarks or whitelist before the date?

You will be automatically redirected to the new websites so that you can continue to use FYI and the Help Centre.

Emails may be sent to your spam folder however, so you should add those to your safe sender list as soon as possible to avoid missing important information or correspondence from our support team.
