Adding Process Steps for Clients

Using FYI's automation engine, you can save time on client maintenance tasks by using FYI actions to update client data. For example, you can automatically track items like engagement dates, last contact date and even opt in or out of your mailing list.

There is one type of Client process step:

    • Updating Clients
      Allows you to automatically change client custom field data as key events occur, such as engagement date, last contact date or unsubscribing from mailing lists.

Quick steps to get you started:


To update a client using a custom process, simply follow the steps below:

  1. In the process select Add Step
  2. Locate the Update Client action
  3. Define the client Custom Field to be updated
  4. Select Save.
